Drontal All Wormer Tablets For Large Dogs for the treatment & control of roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm.
Drontal All Wormer Tablets For Large Dogs (35kg) are recommended for the control of all gastrointestinal worms in bigger dogs including:
– Roundworm Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
– Hookworm Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum
– Whipworm Trichuris vulpis
– Tapeworm Echinococcus granulosus (Hydatid Tapeworm), Taenia ovis (sheep measles), Dipylidium caninum (common flea tapeworm), Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis
Drontal Allwormer is given as a single dose by mouth and may be administered immediately before or with a meal. Fasting prior to dosing is NOT necessary. Weigh dogs before treatment.

Why do I need to worm my dog?
Worms are extremely infectious. Puppies are born already infected with roundworms or infected with hookworms through the mother’s milk, which may cause vomiting, diarrhoea, a ‘pot belly’ appearance and colic. Some adult worms can produce 20,000 eggs a day with some eggs surviving for up to five years on the ground, where they can be taken up by your pet by sniffing the ground, eating uncooked meats, rodents or swallowed during grooming. Worms can also be passed from animals to humans, with children particularly at risk. It is important that your dog receives proper worm treatment as worm burden symptoms are not always apparent.
