Oral laminitis support remedy

Hippo Health LamATK is a natural oral remedy that supports horses with symptoms of laminitis, by promoting a normal immune response to minor pain and inflammation.

Once the symptoms of laminitis have reduced, consider using the Hippo Health LamiPrev remedy to assist with prevention of flare ups.

Oral remedies need to make contact with a mucous membrane such as the tongue, gums or lips.

Dosage

Dosing can start as soon as you notice the first symptoms of laminitis. Hippo Health advise veterinary supervision and have professionally formulated this remedy to be used alongside prescribed medicines such as Bute.

Dose directly on the tongue, gums or lips or add two pumps of remedy to a small piece of food. Most horses love the sweet taste, but for more nervous horses, put a dose on your finger and dab onto their lips or gums. The active ingredients are through these mucous membranes with no need for the remedy to be swallowed.

This remedy is not suitable for dosing via a water trough.

90ml Pump Bottle

Give 2 pumps into the mouth or on a small piece of food every half hour for 4 doses, then increase the length of time between each dose as the horse becomes more comfortable.

90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

Bottles are made from food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap.
