J Wenzel Waxed Thread is an extra strong, heavy duty linen thread which is lightly waxed. Commonly used for horse mane plaiting but also ideal for leather repairs, bookbinding, sewing leather craft projects etc.

For a more waterproof and durable finish, you can pull your linen thread over a block of pure beeswax before you begin your stitching.
