Mendota Walker Leads are Martingale style leads, handcrafted in the USA and guaranteed for the life of your pet

Mendota walker leads utilise a Martingale design, acting as a a lead and choke collar in one. There is a separate length that goes under the dogs neck and a loop at the end of the lead section threaded through D rings on the bottom section. What this means is that you can form a loop that goes over the dogs head, and if the dog pulls the loop will tighten, and then release when the dog stops pulling. The leads feature a leather slide cover to set the maximum loop size once fitted, this prevents the loop pulling back over the dogs head. Made from high quality materials, including multifilament polypropylene solid core rope, oil tanned leather, and solid brass or brushed nickel plated hardware.
