Advantage Flea Treatment For Dogs provides easy monthly flea control for dogs
Advantage Flea Treatment For Dogs is a monthly topical (Spot on) flea treatment for puppies and dogs which kills fleas through contact. This means that they don’t have to bite your dog to die, they simply get affected as soon as they jump on board.
Because the fleas will die quickly, there will be fewer painful, itchy flea bites, which means your dog will be less stressed and their level of discomfort will be reduced.
Advantage also kills flea larvae in your dog’s surroundings as well as lice.
Exposure to fleas is an unfortunate fact of life for your dog when they venture outdoors particularly when they interact with other dogs or explore places where other animals live, or through other pets in the house that have been infected. The best action is through using a preventative flea treatment like Advantage which will discourage fleas from setting up residence on your dog.
Advantage is safe for use on puppies from any age, and is also safe to use on pregnant and lactating animals.
If you do find fleas on your pet, or in your home, you should act quickly to eliminate them by targeting each stage of their life-cycle;
– to kill any adult fleas and their eggs, wash all of your pets bedding in hot water that is over 50 degrees Celsius
– vacuum all carpets and mats thoroughly at maximum to help remove flea eggs and dispose of the vacuum bag in a sealed plastic bag into your rubbish bin.
– if you have a stick / bag less vacuum, empty the bin into a plastic bag and tie it also keep it away from the house if possible until it has been emptied in case anything manages to escape.
– steam cleaning your carpets will help kill flea larvae
– shampooing your carpet with commercial anti-flea shampoo or adding a small amount of Neem oil (10 drops) to ordinary carpet shampoo will help deter further infestations (test on your carpet in an inconspicuous place first!)

Instructions
1 – Remove the tube from the packaging, and hold it upright and away from you, then pull off the cap.
2 – Turn the cap over and push the cap back down onto the tube. Twist the cap to penetrate the seal and then remove the cap from the tube.
3 – It is easiest to apply Advantage when you dog is standing. For small to medium dogs less than 25 kg, part the hair between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible and then apply the contents of the tube to the skin.
4 – For larger dogs over 25 kg, apply 1 tube the contents at three positions; – between the shoulder blades, on the mid-line of the back between the hips, and somewhere in between. Ensure to place the tip of the tube onto the dogs skin and squeeze at least twice to apply all of the solution directly on the dog’s skin.

Small Dogs and Puppies: under 4 kg (Dark Green Label)
Small – Medium dogs: 4 – 10 kg (Light Blue Label)
Medium – Large dogs: 10 – 25 kg (Red Label)
Large dogs: 25 – 50 kg (Dark Blue Label)
For very large dogs over 50 kg, you will need to use a combination of sizes to get the required dosage for their body weight.
